This chili recipe was shared with me by a friend. If you have discovered a great use for my Bloody Red Mix or any of my other treats and would like to share it, I would love to hear about it.
2 ½ Lbs. Ground Sirloin
1 Medium White Onion Diced Up, But Not Too Small
½ Can Beer
1 – 32 oz. Bottle of Trader Dave’s Bloody Red Mix
1 to 2 cans of Ranch Style Beans (Optional)
Pour the beer into a small skillet and add your diced onions. Cook for 5 to 10 minutes until the onions are tender. In a large pan, brown your meat and pour off excess oil. Break up the meat. Add the cooked onion mixture and the remaining ingredients. Bring to a low simmer for 30 minutes. Enjoy with cheese, crackers and cold beer.
***Use it as a base for your next hearty stew***
Remember…This mix makes a wonderful Bloody Mary and absolutely redefines Red Beer!
